Booking a business photoshoot is an investment - not just beautiful images, but in capturing your story with intention, creativity and care. If you're wondering what the process looks like, or how I stand apart from other Photographers, let me walk you through it all. Here's the low down of what to expect when you book a brand photoshoot with me.
From your very first enquiry, I'll treat you as a collaborator rather than a client. Lots of my clients are life long friends, or those I support all year round. My approach is all about getting to know you and understanding your vision so photos are bespoke to your brand, whilst incorporating my style alongside it. You'll received some questions on email, and a planning guide that helps me learn about your goals, your branding and what you'd love the images to reflect before booking your shoot in my calendar.
We may also hop on a short call or have a coffee to chat it through together and ensure we're on the same page. To bring it all together, we’ll create a mood board that captures the style, and ideas you’re drawn to. This makes sure your photoshoot feels like you - not something cookie-cutter and like everyone else. Because your photos need to be relevant to your business.
I'll guide you through your brand photoshoot
I believe in keeping things simple and stress-free for you. So once we've had a chat, you can leave it to me if you've sent over your shot list (ask if you don't know what this is). When the shoot day arrives, I like to keep things calm and collaborative. We’ll meet, have a chat and settle in, test the light, and I'll familiarise myself with the location and /or your space. I find it takes 5 minutes for the stress of the shoot minimise and those more natural, comfortable photos to come through, when on one of my Lifestyle shoots.
I’ll guide you throughout, offering prompts and direction so you never feel awkward or unsure - and making you laugh every once in I while (with my best jokes!). The atmosphere is relaxed, with time for breaks and adjustments if needed.
My aim is to capture natural moments and candid moments whilst still giving you plenty of variation to choose from. I capture photos with a marketing focus, so you have content sorted for the next 2-3 months. At the end of the shoot, we’ll have a quick debrief so you know exactly what happens next, including when to expect your gallery and how it works. Super simple!
Creating meaningful content
Once the shoot is complete, I go through every image, carefully culling and selecting the strongest photos to send you. My editing style is clean, light, and natural. Rather than dramatically transforming the image, I enhance what’s already there, staying true to the authenticity of the moment.
Rather than overwhelming you with hundreds of average shots, I intentionally curate a refined selection that feels meaningful, usable, and aligned with your brand. You’ll receive your gallery in a format that works for both web and print, giving you everything you need for your brand or personal use. If you’d like, I can also offer advice on how best to use your photos across platforms like social media, websites, or printed materials - just ask!

While the process may be similar to other Photographers, my brand is also me - so hi! I thought I’d introduce myself and tell you a little about how what I do when I’m not behind the lens. A few of my favourite things include a flat white, yoga, surfing in Cornwall and Devon, and sunshine (even better if by the sea!) Find out more about my day to day by connecting on Instagram.
So you may be thinking 'Makes sense, but why should I work with you?' What truly sets me apart is the 'why' behind my work? I believe in authenticity over perfection, which means I won’t edit away everything that makes you, you. Instead, I capture real presence, laughter, and natural moments that create the most authentic brand photos. Everyone loves human connection and wants to see YOU!
Even if you're sat here thinking you can't step out of your comfort zone, and you can't show your face online, I'm here to tell you that you can! Every single business owner I've worked with over my13 years of photoshoots has said the exact same thing. And they've come out of their shoot feeling empowered, comfortable and ready to share the photos online.
If this sounds like a good fit, getting started is simple. Send me an enquiry here and I’ll get back to you with availability and next steps.
