What's a Winter Brand Shoot Day?
Some of you may have seen my winter brand shoot days offering has made a come back for this winter season. But, what exactly is a winter brand photoshoot?
Yep, it’s a photoshoot in a stunning property, booked for you! A 1 hour natural branding photoshoot in different houses, holiday lets, hotels and locations around Devon and Cornwall during the winter months!
There’s a particular point every year when I look at my own camera roll and think, I really should get some new photos. And then I look at the weather, look at the diary, remember everything else I’m supposed to be doing and think, maybe in spring.
But here’s the thing. Winter is actually a really good time for a brand shoot. You don’t need blue skies, sunshine and a field of wildflowers to create lovely photographs for your business. In fact, some of my favourite brand images are made in beautiful indoor spaces, with soft winter light, cosy textures and a bit more atmosphere.

So, what actually is a Winter Brand Shoot Day?
Quite simply, it’s a brand photography shoot without all the stress of organising a brand photography shoot yourself. I’ve chosen three lovely locations for November and December. They’re all completely different, so you can choose somewhere that feels right for your business and the kind of photographs you want to create.
I book the location.
You turn up.
We spend an hour taking photographs.
And I do the rest.
It’s for those moments when you know your business really needs some fresh photography, but the thought of organising a whole bespoke shoot feels like a bit much.
Maybe you’ve been using the same headshot for the last three years. Maybe your website has changed but your photographs haven’t. Maybe you’ve launched a new product or service. Or maybe you’ve simply reached the point where you’re bored of seeing the same handful of images every time you sit down to write a social media post. I get it.

This is something I think gets forgotten when we talk about brand photography. You don't just need a nice new headshot, you need photographs that give you something to do with your marketing.
So during your shoot, we'll create a collection that can work across lots of different places.
Your website. Instagram. Facebook. LinkedIn. Pinterest. Your email marketing. Blog posts. Launches. Offers. Press features. Your About page.
You might have a photograph of you working at your laptop, another showing a few more relaxed portraits, some detail shots and photographs that leave a bit of negative space for you to add text.
